Dr Deepali Sharma is a highly accomplished and experienced radiologist with an impressive educational background and a diverse range of professional roles. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) earned in 2008 and obtained her medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Liverpool from 1995 to 2000.

Specialising in general radiology, Dr Sharma has practised as a radiologist at Hospital Ampang since 2017. In this role, she reports radiographic images, CT and MRI images, performs various procedures, interprets images using computer-aided detection systems, supervises medical officers, and actively participates in continuing education activities.

As a well-versed clinical assistant professor in radiology at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) since 2014, Dr Sharma has been engaged in undergraduate teaching, curriculum coordination, and research activities.

Throughout her career, Dr Sharma has received numerous awards and recognitions and has significantly contributed to the field through publications and research. Her publications cover a range of topics, including:

·       Ultrasonography in differentiating severe dengue

·       Wound healing and antibacterial activities

·       Awareness and perception of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy

·       Knowledge and perception of regenerative medicine
