Medical Lab Technologist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Execution

  • You will be responsible in Phlebotomy and assist patients in the collection of urine and sputum samples.
  • You shall ensure familiarity with policies and procedures.
  • You shall take part in any staff orientation, in-service training and educational program and to ensure that professional laboratory practices are carried out at all times.
  • You shall help in the development and implementation of quality assurance systems covering these areas, thus ensuring an efficient and effective service is being provided to our customers.
  • You shall ensure competency in the use of all instruments and analyze relevant to the specific specialty. Staff should be also competent in all other manual laboratory techniques relative to their specific specialty.
  • You shall ensure that laboratory running costs are kept under control and be aware of costs involved.
  • You shall ensure that adequate supplies are available for the smooth operation of the department.
  • You shall ensure all statistical data required by management or other agencies are collected are accurate and provided in a timely fashion.
  • You shall keep informed of current laboratory diagnostic techniques to ensure that the Laboratory is providing the most efficient and modern services.
  • You shall ensure that you are familiar with the latest techniques and practices regarding health and safety at work, e.g. Handling of toxic materials, handling of biohazard material, fire safety, etc. and provide staff with regular
    reminders and updates regarding good safety work practices within the laboratory.
  • You shall help in the clerical duties in the Laboratory.
  • You shall perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.

Medical Assistant (A&E)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Summary:

Provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Head of Emergency Department, with a focus on clinical services, patient management, pricing, reporting, and liaison activities while retaining the clinical scope of a Medical Assistant. The role ensures smooth flow of day-to-day functions and supports strategic initiatives within the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rakyat Wing Oversight
  1. Support in structuring, reviewing, and updating low-cost Rakyat Wing packages.
  2. Ensure eligibility documentation and pricing transparency are maintained.
  • Pricing & Quotation
  1. Assist in preparing pricing structures and individualized quotations for patients.
  2. Work closely with billing and finance to update and align pricing for Rakyat Wing services.
  • Administrative Reporting
  1. Draft, compile, and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
  2. Manage relevant data tracking for performance metrics, revenue, and service utilization.
  • Departmental Revenue & Performance Monitoring
  1. Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Emergency Department revenue.
  2. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Assist in setting KPIs and preparing performance dashboards for departmental reporting.
  • Patient Coordination
  1. Assist in scheduling, confirming, and tracking patient appointments

  1. Monitor, track, and report performance and engagement of referring agents.
  2. Maintain a structured database of referral sources and patient conversion rates.
  • Clinical Support
  1. Assist Emergency Physician with patient care as needed.

  3. Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and consumables.
  • Other Duties
  1. Liaise with internal departments to follow up on pending actions.
  2. Provide administrative assistance for special projects as assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Skills:

Maintenance & Project Supervisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform and supervise the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building structures including walls, flooring, roofing, ceilings, doors, windows, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building conditions and recommendpreventive or corrective actions
  • Manage and monitor civil maintenance requests through a work order system.
  • Ensure timely resolution of building-related defects, wear-and-tear issues, and safety hazards—especially in patient care and critical areas.
  • Oversee small to medium-scale renovation, construction, and upgrading works, including modifications to clinical and non-clinical areas (e.g. wards, offices, support service areas).
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure all works comply with design plans, specifications, hospital guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, work schedule, and safety compliance during project execution.
  • Ensure quality workmanship, timely completion, and cost control for all assigned projects.
  • Participate in site meetings, inspections, testing and commissioning (T&C), and handover processes.
  • Escalate complex technical or unresolved issues to the M&E Executive, Engineer, or Unit Head for further action.
  • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools, equipment, and checklists.
  • Support equipment calibration and certification activities as required
  • Attend and respond promptly to work orders and job requests, ensuring proper documentation and closure.

Healthcare Engineering Technician

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on medical devices, diagnostic equipment, and hospital infrastructure systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems).

Civil Maintenance Technician

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
